Access to legal advice should not depend on the means of those who need it.
Faculti commits the same technical resources, Principal led judgement and outcome focus to its pro bono practice as it does to fee-paying work.
As a signatory to the Australian Pro Bono Centre's aspirational target of 35 hours of pro bono legal work per practitioner per year, our lawyers are encouraged to dedicate up to 100 hours annually to pro bono matters.
Our program is national. Our commitment extends into how we develop the next generation of lawyers. Pro bono secondments are embedded in our graduate rotation program across our office.
We work with community legal centres, referral programs, universities, and charitable organisations across our office network, directing legal expertise to individuals and communities where it will have the most effect. Our partners and clients span First Nations legal services, domestic violence support, disability advocacy, immigration law, law reform, and corporate governance for the not-for-profit sector.
