Adrian Tembel is a Director and Principal of Faculti Lawyers.
He has also been Chief Executive Partner of Thomsons since April 2009, making him one of the longest-serving major law firm leaders in Australia. Over that period he led Thomsons through four distinct phases of growth, from a small regional practice, to a respected mid-tier national firm, to a preeminent challenger brand, and now to a major firm operating at top tier level across a growing number of practice areas with greater ambitions.
Under his leadership, Thomsons has risen to represent private and public sector institutions across every mainland State in the country on their most challenging assignments. Equally important to Adrian has been the development of a firm identity and culture defined by social equity and competitiveness.
Adrian is responsible for developing the strategy, and was the driver behind, the creation of Faculti Lawyers.
Meanwhile, he is also the principal independent economic advisor to the South Australian Premier in his role as the Chairman of the South Australian Productivity Commission. He is considered a leading expert on Australian sub national government economic policies.
